Hello Everyone!!
Wow it has been a looooong time since I have been on this.
I have been soo busy since my last post back around the beginning of last year.....no wait, even longer than that, back at the beginning of 2014!!!.
So I think I will keep this brief for now and will post more in the months to come :D
So....
I am now a father of two wonderful girls Islay (now 4 and yes it has flew by!!) and Jura (now 1 and a half) to my amazing wife Eilish.
My Church, Hope United in Motherwell put on 4 different shows last year. Lion King in Easter. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory in the summer. Our own charity show called Hope & Glory in honour of the people who fought and died for freedom in WWII. And Finally the Wizard of Oz for our Big Christmas Giveaway where we put on 8 shows over 6 days. It was AMAZING!!! I got to play as Scar, Grandpa Joe, a Soldier and Scarecrow.
Back in 2014 I was so glad to have finally got a proper 9-5 job which however for the best part didn't work out in the end as they were looking for someone else who could fit their mold. So I was then fired in 2015 shortly after we had bought our first house. That was a tough and brief moment in my life as I soon picked myself up and went on the job hunt again and I think within 1 or 2 weeks I had another job with an amazing company called Houseology.com - https://www.houseology.com! It was an absolute Godsend and I have thanked God so much for it! However sadly I have now been let go from this job and I am back once again on the hunt for a new job!
I am aiming to expand my horizon and look for new opportunities to learn new skills and meet some amazing people.
So as you can see I have been a busy bee for sometime now but I will definitely make a habit of updating this blog from time to time and begin to add new art work and videos in time this year.
2016 is going to be an absolutely amazing year and I can't wait to see what God has planned for me.

Whats up Internet!!!
So the past couple of months have been......eventful I guess is the right way to put it. The job hunt is still as difficult as ever, although it would help If I had time to hunt for it and had a portfolio to be proud of and when I say proud I mean have a lot more than just a few average animations and designs so that is why with every spare moment I have I will be doing animations for the 11second club competition each month. I did last month's however I wasn't able to complete it but you can see the progress I made on my youtube channel and on the 11second club website wherever it maybe.
My training for Tough Mudder and the Glasgow Half Marathon have dwindled a bit as well. I am still going to do both of them even if it is going be hard it's still for things bigger than me.
So yeah just a wee update for ya.

YAY! Internet and a look back at 2013 "The Year of Happenings and Failed Promises" and a look to 2014 "The Year of Doing and Becoming"
Yes I am back!
Well have I got a lot to say today.
I have moved house this year so that is why this post is late as I had no Internet until yesterday. I know shock, horror a life without Internet :D.
Anyway on with the show....
2013
Yes last year was a year of happenings and failed promises as I promised you, my faithful audience, animations, videos and art but I was barely able to make two animations in the space of graduating Uni to Christmas (6 months). I did however do a number of song covers with my beautiful wife Eilish which I am very proud of, her voice is so amazing and loud too :D. So I do apologise for the lack of creativity on my end. I didn't have the kick up the arse, get moving, just do it attitude that I now have which made my efforts of getting into the creative industry quite a struggle, so I am now a Zero Hour Contract employee and that also affected my creativity because sometimes the hours were all over the place or I wouldn't even have a shift for a week or so. That made things difficult not just creatively but financially as well because I have a wee one to look after and my wife also and things to pay for and just general living you know. So that is why things are going to change this year but I will get into that in a moment.
Last year, like I said, I graduated with a 2:2 in Computer Animation with Digital Art and of course everyone looks back and goes "I wish I did better","I could have done better" and honestly I could have, I could have spent more time digging into my creativity and honing my skills but being a new and young father it was a struggle. I don't think, back then in 2011, I had comprehended what I had just become so I became quite numb and plodded along through life for 2 years, if anyone can relate to that. At that moment of Islay's birth I should have, like I have now, grabbed life by the balls and said, "This is it, Nick, this is your responsibility, this is your life and you are going to do everything in your ability to become a great and amazing person, not just for you but for her, for Islay and those to follow!".
Another happening last year, well not really a happening but more of an event which was the best day of my life! I got married to Eilish! And it was amazing, she was amazing, the people were amazing and it was such a perfect day and I'm glad I have that memory to look back on in 2013!
So yes 2013 had some ups and many a downs but that's not to say that 2014 will be a repeat.
2014
Like the title says this is my year of Doing and Becoming. I have many things I am going to do this year. I have a few events that I am going to take part in, the first is Tough Mudder with guys from my church and it is going to be awesome, can't wait for it, so I will be doing a lot of training for it this year and also for the Glasgow Half Marathon which is only a few months after Tough Mudder! I am really excited for both of these. So stay tuned to this blog and possibly my Youtube channel for more details on those.
My other goal this year is to get a better job, one that I will love doing and one that will support us so I can give more and make a better life for my children. This is going to take a lot of effort and I am willing to take the punches and go through the dirt for my family.
I am especially going to work on my self this year because, as my Pastor says, "The best you can give somebody is a healthy you." And not just physically but mentally as well. My attitude towards people, work and life has just changed dramatically. I now know that I can achieve anything, that I can become a bigger person and its not for me its for others, its for other people that I am going to work on myself because I want others to become great people. I want to be a stronger father and husband especially, for them.
The people at my church have helped me so much. It is because of them that my life and my views of people, of jobs, of businesses and of Jesus have changed so much and most definitely for the better :D. Me and my wife have joined the band and I will be learning the bass, Eilish will be singing and we are also getting involved with the media so my creative ability will be getting put to good use as well. Its all so exciting this year!!!
To you the reader, your support is greatly appreciated. I thank you for reading my blog and viewing and sharing my videos and art if you did. I will make one promise to you this year things will get better!

Okay Here We Go...
Right new plan, my Traveller comic is going to take a back seat just now as I am going to work on my actual skill of drawing by just....well drawing ha ha :) Ill post what I draw on my Deviantart page for you to enjoy and critique. So yeah thats happening while I improve and make more concepts for the comic because the problem is that I keep thinking about the comic instead of actually concepting the comic and I over think it to much.
Good thing though is I have joined the Creative Academy with GKBC inc (Giving Kudos to Brilliant Content) Which will be really good for me as they will give me projects to do :). Check them out - http://gkbcinc.com/
Also I am currently working on episode 2 of Worst Superhero Ever, its gonna be funny :) and I will hopefully be getting that too you in around next week :).
Few reasons why things have been slow lately -
ONE - Got married and it was an AWESOME DAY!!! Big thank you to all who came and supported us. I cried honestly I did, Eilish was sooo beautiful words can't describe how I felt that day.
TWO - Spent a week in the Maldives for our honeymoon. It was so hot everyday! Saw hermit crabs and geckos and fruit bats and I caught a very large fish too, my wife actually caught bigger :( We had a good time and now we have pretty much recovered from jet lag and the heat and getting into the swing of things again.
I have been really getting into photography lately which is evident on my Deviant account with the photos i've been uploading. Some were from the maldives and some are from the Highland Wildlife Park near Aviemore. I would definitely recommend visiting it, they have Scotlands only Polar Bears, Red Pandas which are extremely cute and Wolves and tones more animals we had an amazing time up there despite the cold :)

Who's Getting Married In A Weeks Time??...........THIS GUY!!!! OH YEAH!!
Thats right only a week left and I will have tied the knot with my love Eilish Logue and then we will be off to the Maldives for our hooneymoon!! It's exciting times i'll tell you!
I was also in Italy last week so I haven't had much free time to do any animations or concept work so I do apologise for the delay of any work being done but please bear with me and I promise something will appear soon my loving and faithful readers :)
I will be helping out at my Church which will be having a Super Hero Sunday soon where I'll be helping paint a super hero city with Batman and Spider Man and many others it's going to be awesome, I promise pictures and if you can come along and have a good time!!

Oh Yeah I'm Getting Married!!
You read it right I am getting married WOOOW!
Me and my girlfriend Eilish decided this like 2 weeks ago and we have pretty much everything sorted for the day already :)
Our big day is on the 28th of September this year and I wish it could come sooner since everything is ready.
I would like to give out a big thank you to everyone who has helped with the planning for our special day, you have all made it so easy and possible.

A GOT A JOB WOOHOO!!!
Now it isn't a creative industry job no, it's actually with an agency called TaskMasters and they find you shifts to work in factories, warehouses and other things like that so it is a job and I am very grateful for it because it means I am earning money and I can quit worrying and focus on doing more artwork and animations in my spare time. I'm currently working on a sci-fi landscape piece using photoshop, gonna play about with brushes and textures. After that I will move onto episode 2 of Worst SuperHero Ever!

I had my first shift on Thursday night and now I am at a plastic factory till Friday and since I have started I know that it isn't what I want to do in life but it is something I have to do in order to do what I would really like and that is make cartoons and characters and artwork in the near future, I mean with an actual studio of course not Youtube. I am not saying that I am better than the job I have been given, I am not and I know it but it is kinda like I know that I don't belong but someone has to the job and why not me eh? :) We all need to work and do something productive and positive with our lives which can benefit and help others who need it.
I would like to thank you who read this and take an interest in what I have to say and I hope you have an interest and like the art that I make and animations that I create because I do them not only for myself but for you :)
